Spicers 3M Application: Walls Low VOC paints have changed how wall film adhesives interact with painted surfaces, meaning adhesion can vary between different paint and film combinations. To support successful installation, 3M recommends using the 3M™ Enhanced Adhesion Cleaning Method and 3M™ Adhesion Test Kit to test adhesion and select the appropriate 3M graphic film for each wall application. Following the techniques outlined in this bulletin can be the difference between a successful installation and graphics prematurely falling off the wall. |

All 3M Graphics printed films that are to be laminated must be printed and prepared according to 3M’s guidance. This bulletin provides only basic overviews regarding drying solvent, eco-solvent, and latex printed graphics, and on curing UV printed graphics. Graphic manufacturers should refer to the product bulletins for the ink used in constructing their graphic. |
